This position presents an uncapped opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work alongside a small group of seasoned supply chain specialists. The Business Development Associate must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment by identifying qualified leads and prospects for this rapidly growing 3PL focused on small parcel, fixed route courier-type distribution throughout the United States.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing a variety of tools, including internet search, subscribed databases, references, etc., research and targeting of prospective customers through industry analysis and company profiling;

  • Responsible for crafting telemarketing and direct email marketing strategies to target prospects across a broad range of industries and identifying qualified prospects;

  • Input lead information into our CRM application, Salesforce

  • Partner with Business Development team to develop qualified leads and generate qualified sales opportunities.

Such a candidate must possess the following qualities:

  • Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills;

  • Telemarketing experience and persistent mindset to engage prospects via telephone;

  • Experience utilizing digital and social marketing;

  • Strong interest in logistics and supply chain industries;

  • Interest in sales and marketing;

  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with career aspirations.

In addition, the following qualities are preferred:

  • Knowledge operating within the 3PL industry and, in particular, courier distribution;

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;

  • Four-year Bachelors degree.

Location: West Los Angeles Corporate Headquarters.

Compensation: To be determined based on experience and capabilities.
